You know you are a crafter when...your sister calls you from Hobby Lobby (60 miles away) to tell you there are dpns on sale for $1.50 per set and each set comes with 4 or 5 needles (Yay!). lol
I suffer from an underpriveliged craft store. Wal*Mart. Ugh. They have a limited selection of yarn, needles and hooks. They don't even carry fabric at the one where I live anymore. It's terrible. If I want anything, beyond basics, I have to order online (and pray for same lot numbers) or drive for an hour or more to a decent craft store.
Does anyone else have similar complaints?
Just wanted to post an update of the 3 latest Card Sleeves I finished. I "turn them in" tomorrow morning. This puts me up to 10 completed and at least 65 more to go.
All 3 were completed with Red Heart Super Saver in the following colors: (left) Carrot, (middle) Navy, (right) Fiesta [I think that's the right name, sorry if it's not]
Did some figuring just now and by the end of this project I will actually have more than 75 card holders. I already have 10 done. There are 24 weeks until Thanksgiving and if I do 3 each week, that will give me a grand total of: 82.
Better to have too much than not enough. (How many of us use that excuse to buy more yarn? lol)

I stumbled on a rather old article the other day and it got me thinking...Do all yarn crafters have cats? The article is short but there are over 200 comments. Apparently this is not a new concept. lol I'm usually the last one to figure out anything.
Here is the link to the article: http://www.crochetspot.com/do-all-crocheters-have-cats/
Let me know what you think.
