Current Projects

Right now I have several projects in the works.

1. Full-Size and Miniature Sock Monkeys for each of my 2 kids
I haven't actually started this one yet, but I have all the stuff I need. They are worked Amigurumi style. The miniatures I can have done in a couple of days, but the full-size versions could take quite a bit longer. To get a preview of what's to come with these check out the following links:

2. My Mom's Birthday gift
I can't give too much away about this one (just in case (-; ), but I have started it. I'm not as far along as I want to be at this point but I have until December 20 to get it done. I will definitely post pictures when it's done. If it turns out as good as my sister and I are hoping, it will be pretty awesome.

3. A hat, scaft, and mittens for the kids
It's not too cold here in Texas yet but about the middle of next month it really starts to feel like winter here. I have finished the hat, scarf and one mitten for my son. I haven't been able to start the set for my daughter yet because we've been a little broke and I haven't been able to get all the yarn I want to use. For the set for my son, I'm using Red Heart Super Saver in Mexicana and some blue yarn I had on hand (I think it's Red Heart, too). For the set for my daughter, I'm planning on using Red Heart Super Saver in Bikini and Pretty 'n Pink. The patterns I'm using are listed below.
